Return And Refund
Service cancellations and refunds. Last updated: draft, not in effect.
How Payment Protection Works
- Customers pay when they place an order. PSP Network holds the funds under payment protection until the customer approves delivery or the auto-approval window ends (example: 3 days after delivery).
- PSP Network is a marketplace. The service contract is between the customer and the independent Property Service Provider (PSP).
Cancelling An Order
- Before the PSP accepts: cancel at no charge for a full refund to the original payment method (example).
- After the PSP accepts but before work starts: the customer may cancel; any non-refundable fee shown at checkout is disclosed in advance (example).
- After work starts: cancellations are handled as a partial refund for work not performed, by agreement or through a dispute.
- A PSP who cannot deliver must cancel; the customer receives a full refund.
Refunds And Disputes
- Request a refund or partial refund from Cancel Or Refund, or open a case in Disputes.
- PSP Network reviews disputes within 2 business days (example) and may release, split or refund held funds.
- Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days (example).
Home Improvement Jobs In California
- For home improvement contracts, any down payment may not exceed the lesser of $1,000 or 10% of the contract price (California B&P §7159).
- Jobs of $1,000 or more (labor plus materials) require a California contractor license (AB 2622, effective Jan 1, 2025).
No Physical Goods
- PSP Network sells services only, so there is no shipping or product return policy. If physical goods are ever sold, a Shipping page will be added.
